Annual Report 2025-26

The academic session 2025-2026 commenced on 1st April 2025 with full of hopes and expectations. This session has been a very eventful one for us. We strived hard to meet to the desired objectives and have been extremely successful in most of our endeavours. Apart from preparing the children to achieve in academic domains, special efforts have been made to enable them to face the challenges of the competitive world. The General Body Meeting was held on 21 June 2025. Decisions were taken on various matters pertaining to academic and extracurricular activities. Various instructions were given for the smooth functioning of the school. The school offered up plethora of opportunities through Wednesday Club activities exclusively for Montessori students and Saturday Club activities for the students of remaining classes. Club activities inspire and motivate our children to come out with their creative output i.e. artistic, literary, and oratorical. Our school moulds the Global citizens of tomorrow by cultivating skills among the Scholars which include leadership, communication, teamwork and social etiquette. To felicitate this a school Senate is formed. The investiture ceremony of the selected senate was held on 12 July 2025. The Principal Mrs. Lissy Louis, chairperson, Mrs. Parul Sahu Kesari and Director Mr. Neeraj Kesharwani administered the Oath to the Senate. GIS recognizes the academic achievement of its scholars in the form of academic excellence award. The shining stars got felicitated with the academic excellence awards for their performance in the previous academic year. 78th Independence Day was celebrated in our school with patriotic fervor. We started the day by hoisting the Indian flag by the chairperson Mrs. Parul Sahu Keshri which was followed by a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem by our choir. We paid our tribute to the brave freedom fighters through patriotic songs and skit. Speeches were presented by the students in English and Hindi. The school also organised 4th Independence Cup successfully.

School can have a profound impact on community by teaching kids how to be environmental stewards for a lifetime. To create a campus wide culture of conversation, we organised Green Earth venture on 23 AUG 2025 in which more than 5000 saplings were distributed to the parents.

5th September is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan - the second President of India who was a great academic philosopher and one of the most well-known diplomats, scholar, President of India and above all a teacher. We celebrated Teacher’s Day with great fun and enthusiasm. The program kick started with a prayer dance followed by a talk by the principal and chairperson highlighting the contribution of teachers in a student's life. A video was displayed showcasing the affection and bond that holds the members of Greatmen family. Thereafter, the teachers indulged in fun filled activities. The day came to an end with memories to cherish forever.

Annual exhibition was organised by the school on 17th October 2025. The students left the parents spellbound with their amazing innovations. The exhibition seeks to engage children to gather experience and motivate each other to design and develop something novel in the form of Art, pottery sculpture, models and culinary stuffs. The "The World of AI & Community Helper" caught everybody's attention and it made the event a grand one. Greatmen International School celebrated its Annual Day, "MERAKI," on 23rd December 2025, showcasing the creativity and talent of scholars from Montessori to Grade XII. The vibrant programme featured folk and regional dances, cinematic performances, an orchestra, and GIS News. As the celebration was held close to Christmas, festive performances and Christmas celebrations added joy and warmth, making the event a memorable celebration of culture, creativity, and togetherness. The 77th Republic Day was celebrated on 26th January 2026 at the school ground. The students to book Pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. The event began with the unfurling of the National Flag by the chairperson Mrs. Parul Sahu Keshri and the Principal Mrs Lissy Louis, followed by the national anthem. The school echoed with patriotic fervour. Basant Panchami was celebrated in our school. The celebration commenced with Saraswati Pujan followed by divine rendition of Shlokas and Saraswati Vandana. Students offered spring flowers to Goddess Saraswati.
